As a former Animal Shelter volunteer turned employee, animal welfare causes are especially important to me. I donate needed items to local Charlotte shelters and contribute to the\u00a0ASPCA<\/span>\u00a0<\/a>in an effort to aid animals across our nation. Additionally I only purchase and use personal care products like makeup, shampoo, toothpaste, nail polish etc that are NOT tested on animals.\u00a0<\/p>

I am a firm believer in respecting our environment. After all we share this planet with an astonishing number of amazing creatures, plants, and natural wonders. I found an organization called <\/span>8billiontrees<\/a><\/span>\u00a0that focuses on helping to reverse some of the impact humans have made on this planet and our fellow inhabitants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In addition to supporting this organization I have transitioned 90% of my household supplies to products that reduce my carbon footprint.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I once heard a woman say “the only fair thing about life is that it’s not fair to everyone”. These words have stayed with me.<\/p>

I believe we all have a responsibility to find ways to be kind, loving and generous to those who are in need. It has never ceased to amaze me that even when I think I have nothing to give the perfect opportunity will present itself. <\/p>

I’ve been the recipient of much kindness and help during some dark times in my life.
